YOU CAN CREATE A BETTER IMPACT

Once we find that belief, anything is possible. So often we underestimate what we’re capable of. We think that one person alone can’t make a big enough difference so why try. Then many of us don’t so much as lift a finger. If everyone thought that way, nothing meaningful would ever happen. You are not the only one who believes what you believe. As soon as you decide to take your dream or belief or idea seriously, you’ll start to notice there are others who believe the same. They were just waiting for someone to lead them. Once that person stands up, the support can be be massively powerful. When people join together with similar beliefs, be it about health, government, education, you name it, magic starts to happen. But it starts with the belief that you, your idea, can have an impact. That belief is what will get you to start. It’s what will allow you to attract your first follower. It’s what will give you the courage to pour your soul into something that matters. I don’t care what revolution you decide to lead . All that matters is you decide to lead one. If it’s with the group of elementary school kids down the street teaching them an alternative way to learn algebra, so be it. If it’s with helping countries around the world experience freedom, that’s fine too. Or perhaps it’s changing the world be getting people to do work they LOVE, like here at CONCERNED YOUTHS INTERNATIONAL. Awesome. It doesn’t matter what you do. All that matters is that you do something.

CYLPI CORE VALUES

This is a youthful movement cos We are concerned not of money but of a great change. We are concerned for the less-privileged, we are concerned about those ultimate plans, strategies, programmes, people of great mind who would trigger this change, who are ready to forfeit self to this humanitarian call, who are ready to let their light shine to others who never had such privileges, we are not concerned about glory, we have our mind centered on how to glorify the less-privileged. We are aware of those challenges that awaits and are unwilling to waste any time or allow those challenges stop us. We believe in you is a leader who can scout for like minds and we know you can control procedures, process and guide other youths as they channel their potentials to the improvement of the less-privileged. With your commitment and time we will get there.

A CYLPI award SYSTEM

Remember we are in existence to Respect and Defend All Life. If not you and I. Who will stand and speak for the children, for the condemned, for those depressed or suffering in physical pain? Defend the rights of the old, lonely, home- less, unwanted, forgotten, the harassed, physically and mentally challenged and depressed. Our blessings morally obligate us to share our time, money and expertise. Sure, the easy course would be indifference and apathy reflected in our silence. When we do not fight for every life, we jeopardize our own. As the twenty-first century dawns, how many alternatives are we willing to consider before we give up even one life? Can we reach out compassionately to those dealing with life issues? Don’t we have enough time, talent, money, and love to keep trying? The strong and brave must defend those who cannot do this themselves. And it is you and I. This is leadership. It is preserving human dignity and defending human rights. There, through CYLPI and with the grace of God, go I. What about you? So in our little way CYLPI encourages and appreciate our goodwill soldiers, this is you and me getting rewarded and awarded monthly for standing and speaking up for the children, for the condemned, for those depressed or suffering in physical pain? Defend the rights of the old, lonely, home- less, unwanted, forgotten, the harassed, physically and mentally challenged and depressed. If you keep up helping people without relents, you will be an automatic nominee for the CYLPI annual awards. KEY TO THE SYSTEM Any acts of good deeds no matter how small is encouraged to be snapped or video and uploaded on any social media sites: facebook, twitter, youtube, whatsapp etc stating time, place and date courtesy you on behalf of CYLPI, let the world know and see what you are doing to make the world better. Others will notice our example and follow suit. We only encourage or simply motivate you to keep trying. THE SYSTEM Your good work will be published in our subsequent newsletters and will also be stated on our blogs and website for the world to see what you have done and you will be encouraged materially for your good will. NOTE We are CYLPI and we recognize the fact that we are not working or acting based on what we will get in return but all human need a pat at the back and CYLPI recognizes that too. So let's juggle up cos the next person needs our help. Just like the rain no life outside must be left untouched. Its a task for you and I, so let's give it a try.

CYLPI PLANS FOR A "READING PROGRAM"

» We shall set up libraries in cities, towns and villages. CYLPI libraries will provide plenty of books, magazines and newspapers in their shelf for everyone to read and discuss. We shall not forget e-library which would require PCs ( computer, laptops, tabs and pads) » We shall divide readers into groups and set group reading goals and provide children with incentives for reading. » We will Set aside a time each week for reading aloud as a family. » We shall Carry out an orientation program advising families to take regular family trips to book- stores and libraries. »We will Make sure children are involved in a summer reading program. »Encourage all family members to give books as presents. » We shall make provision for volunteers who are professionals to assist those who can't read.......... We are obligated to future generations to protect our world.

CYLPI IN A NUTSHELL

When you give value free of charge, it might not be appreciated except when there is an increase in standards as a prerequisite to its obtaining. With this in mind, you can separate the different class of the beneficiaries, though that would bring out those better of to benefit from what you have to offer but we don't neglect any less-privileged no matter what their case might be, we simply satisfy their needs and wants beyond their maximum expectations. Now, to help the less-privileged ones, we do lay aside our own personal gains and the glory as far as the value we want to render to the less-privileged ones remains worthy without bias or prejudice. Here, we don't just organize program as a means to fund raising or getting to present just what would interest our potential sponsors. We present what would actually deposit value into lives of the less-privileged. In CYLPI, our programs are not good enough until the privileged begin to wish they would have been less to enable them become beneficiaries of what we have to offer.

Without the sun there would be no Solar System. The Sun does not just provide the energy required for life, but also provides the gravitational force to hold the planets in their orbits. And CYLPI like the sun plays a significant role in our world, the love we show to the world provides energy for human existence. With it our soul is not void of some fresh air. And our mind is being lifted high for no other purpose than to light up our world by caring for the Less-Privileged.

IT IS WELL WITH YOUR SOUL

The song "It Is Well With My Soul" was written by a successful Christian lawyer. He had two girls and a wife and the family planned a summer trip to go overseas. Since he had a lot of work to do, he sent his family and decided to follow them later. He heard the news while on the following ship that another ship had capsized and he knew that his family was there since they mentioned the name of the ship. On His return home, his Law firm was burned down and the insurance refused to pay, they said "It's An Act Of God". He had no money to pay for his house and no work, he also lost his house. Then while sitting and thinking what's happening to him, being a spiritual person, he wrote a song - whatever my Lord, you have taught me to say - It is well, it is well with my soul. My dear friend, a good attitude will determine your altitude. When you look at your life, career, job or family life, what do you say? Do you praise God? Do you blame the devil? A good attitude towards God makes Him move on your behalf. Just sit down and say, Today God, it is well with my soul, I am thankful I had a peaceful sleep, I am thankful I am alive with possibilities, I am thankful I have a roof over me, I am thankful I have a job, I am thankful that I have Family and Friends. Above all, I am thankful that I have the Lord Jesus Christ on my side. Be blessed and don't be envious or shocked when others are prospering because you don't know what they have been through to get there (test, trials and tribulation) so thank God for what you have. "Little is much when God is in it. It Is Well With My Soul! Touch someone’s life with this message if God is for us, who can be against us? Don't read if you can't forward. ABOUT CONCERNED YOUTHS INTERNATIONAL

Concerned Youths International majorly called

CONCERNED YOUTHS for the LESS PRIVILEGED INTERNATIONAL (CYLPI) is a global organisation established in Nigeria by concerned Youths. The record of its origin, growth, development, activities, evolving goals and accomplishments is more than an interesting chronicle of a colourful moments filled with a touch of kindness to the less-privileged ones. It is a significant and inspiring reflection of the emergence of a dynamic group bound to make a difference. The efforts of this global organisation is aimed at promoting vocational and career guidance, provision of scholarships, helping health challenges, civil rights and above all spiritual mentoring. All these areas constitute a priceless part of the global experience in the 21st century. This great organisation was founded by Michael Mbuko on the 14th of February 2013 alongside Emenike F. Odinaka, while Ogeflexi Boniface, Angel Oluwatosin and Mirable Chynwa contributed the added dimension of a global organisation erecting centers in West Africa, North America, and soon enough in Asia. As CYLPI keep growing and prospering their programs multiplied too. The real story of the organisation is in the internal dynamics, creative conceptualisation of activities, and the intellectual expansion of individual members. And here, the theme is love, friendship and mutual support for the less privileged, the lovely, the lonely, the seekers and the doers. In CYLPI we recognise that the air is free but not cheap, our services to humanity is also not cheap but without price tag.
